This book is the story of Dr. Paul Carlson's life which ends tragically in November 1964 when he was shot and killed by Simba Rebels in Stanleyville. The account of his death is just a small portion of this story as it describes a man, a doctor, a missionary who loved the people he served so much that he ended up losing his life because of his dedication.
