When a man who was supposed to die in a fall doesn't, the ghost that has been sent to take his soul to the afterlife is perplexed. His boss tells him to stick with the man until they can find out what happened and while he is doing this, the ghost falls madly in love with the man's girlfriend. Jonathan Carroll is a Philadelphia native who now teaches third grade in New Jersey. He was bitten by the writing bug, when he found that there are very few children's books that feature African-American male characters, and also works written by African-American males. Instead of waiting for this void to be filled, he decided to fill it himself.
