SYNOPSIS: She was found tied to a tree and could not remember even her name. He freed her and setoff to get her to the nearest outpost. Problem? The bounty hunter and his gang are going to hunt her down, deliver her and get paid. A great plot of adventure, trust and danger. Swords, arrows and pistols.

WHAT I LIKED: When will Jade find out who she is or will she.

WHAT I DID NOT LIKE: While the book was fraught with danger and every corner, one could get weary about the escapes from almost impossible situations.

OVERALL RATING: (5) stars because great for YA and Adult. I am an “older” adult that loves a Fantasy World like our world but not quite. Lots of action and adventure. A break from romance… (mehr)

Ghostwalker (The Chronicles of Zanthora #1) by Ben Cassidy is a book I have had for a while and I forgot about. I found it and dove in. I thought it was a ghost story but it was not. Although I would have normally been disappointed, this story was good too. It is in a world of black powder guns, swords, inns, Dukes, bandits, rescuing girls in distress, and "Ghostwalkers". A "Ghostwalker" is someone that part myth, part man. There were lots of stories about Ghostwalkers and part of those were very crazy and part of them were true. The truth was they were good fighters and normally feared. The guy of the story is hero and a Ghostwalker. It is a fun story with adventure, action, and sprinkled with humor. I enjoyed it and would love to continue the series.… (mehr)
