Sea Caummisar

I am old enough to remember when the only "reality show" was the nightly news, and maybe The People's Court, Cops, and a slew of talk shows where people mostly complained about their spouses. These days, there are a ton of naked dating shows, surviving the wilderness, and willingness to marry a stranger for a chance to be on TV. So is it really that far fetched to think there could ever be a show where people willingly injure and maim themselves for cash? Probably not, and the author imagines just such a future where people will do anything for cash while a live audience enjoys their pain. "Easy Money" is the brain child of a twisted sadist who may have once been something close to normal but since the death of his only child and dissolution of his marriage, has embraced his darkest desires to see human suffering up close and personal.
This was a quick and gruesome read.

This book was so extreme it was worthy of my gore suit!

A backstory:

A few friends get together every year to go hunting, but they are not hunting animals - they hunt people. They have a competition that they do among themselves just for the sake of pain and torture. The competition consists mainly of creating human art from the contestants and bragging rights for the whole year of who can create the best "art forms".

That is about all I can say without giving away spoilers so if you love to read extreme horror and want a little more "gristle" in your diet then go grab this book. I would advise to wear a gore suit as it will get messy!

Thoughts:

This was a short read so I saw this book pop up a day or so ago and realized that I did not have this book in my "Sea" collection of books so I grabbed it. I thought that with it being a short romp then I would just jump into it for a couple of hours to see how it all played out and (wow) this book was one gory mess!

One more extreme ride into the dark and bloody mind of this author with quite a bit of gore creativity found within and it was definitely "gore-suit" time! Giving this one five Bloody Brutal stars!… (mehr)

A small backstory:

Angie has been pushed to the limits and beyond as she exacts revenge on some of her relatives including her siblings that did not want to help her out while she took care of her mom who had dementia. All her buttons have been pushed and all the alarm bells have started to ring as she invites her family over for a Thanksgiving meal as little do they know that "sweet" Angie who would never hurt a fly has literally flipped her lid. When they find out that she has gone over the edge it becomes a fight for survival, but they don't realize that there really is no escape from her insane wrath!

Thoughts:

This was a crazy and insane bloody/gore infested romp through the mind of author, Sea Caummisar! The torture of the characters are creative and the blood that runs through the storyline made me wonder if it was going to leak out of my kindle as I was waiting for blood splatter drops to appear! The intensity and tension of what was happening within the pages made me chew on my bottom lip as some of the things that happen within the storyline are definitely "cringe-worthy" as the storyline went into overdrive! Giving this one four "blood dripping" stars!
