Der König in Gelb von Robert W. Chambers
Auch wenn der "König in Gelb" ein Klassiker des Genres ist und das so betitelte, imaginäre Buch wahrscheinlich die Vorlage für das "Necronomicon" ist - so richtig warm werde ich nicht mit den Geschichten in diesen Band. Als richtig lesenwert empfand ich eigentlich keine davon. Anderseits muß man das Alter der Erzählungen berücksichtigen und seinerzeit waren sie bestimmt innovativ und ausgesprochen makaber. Mann sollte als Fan des Genres dieses Buch wohl wahrscheinlich mal gelesen haben - man muß es ja nicht mögen.… (mehr)
