This is a story book about a boy who saves the town using tongue twisters.

It can be difficult for young magicians to find magic books that explain the steps in a trick clearly enough for them to understand. This series by Steve Charney does that beautifully: abundant photographs of boys and girls from various ethnic backgrounds take would-be magicians through each step of a trick with easy-to-understand text instructions. The tone is lighthearted and engaging. And as kids add to their repertoire of magic tricks, they have the added bonus of learning about nonfiction text elements, thanks to the table of contents, bolded vocabulary words, and plentiful backmatter that is provided in each volume.
