The Book of the Dragon von H. Gustavo Ciruelo Cabral

This book I originally found as a paperback copy in Half-price Books. I love it to pieces and when I got the chance I bought a hardback copy. The pictures are beautiful, the information - however "correct" it is - is interesting and presented so well you'll keep reading awhile. My copy is breaking at the seems due to use. One thing is the hardback is a heavy - don't hit anyone with it it or drop it on your foot it WILL hurt. Due to this it's not a "in bed wrapped in covers" book but I wouldn't trade it.… (mehr)

La magia existe y Ciruelo lo demuestra una vez más en éste libro hermoso. El arte es magia.

-Voy a contarles cosas de mundos muy extraños que seguramente les costará creer...

A cada vuelta de página se revela un mundo más maravilloso que el anterior, fantástico, adictivo.
No son sólo las ilustraciones, llenas de imaginación y creatividad, tan magníficas y perfectas. Son también las frases, los pequeños relatos, el contenido de lo que dice en palabras simples y tan llenas de significado.

Lo leí muy despacio para disfrutarlo, y aunque con cada página quería más, a la vez deseaba que nunca se terminara. Es simplemente hermoso. Lo leería una y mil veces, lo recomendaría a todos los que amen la fantasía como yo.… (mehr)

A lovely and colorful book on dragons. The artwork, stories, and the information on the authors kinds of dragons is interesting and dynamic. A wonderful book for anyone who is a fan of dragons.
