X-Files fanfiction novelette. Scully kidnapped and rescued and finds herself on the run with Krycek as her dubious protector. A very plausible and good story with these two characters. It is an unusual pairing for me but very well done.

Dr. Susan Rutledge is a radio call-in psychologist who teams up with a writer who's a lot like Truman Capote. They go after a famous doctor who assists suicides after he murders their best friend. The trail takes them to the worlds of high society New York, cowboy ranches in Tucson, mystical New Age Sedona, and the glamorous New West. Very fast read, entertaining and makes you think about the merits of assisted suicide.
