Fishing for sea-trout in tidal water von Richard Clapham
Mainly spinning with fixed spool reel in the tidal waters of rivers running into Morecambe Bay. His favourite spinner is a natural minnow in a celluloid jacket. He gives precise directions for using it.

Mr. Clapham, fishing north country becks, is "practically" a one-fly man. "For a good many years I have used no other pattern of fly but the Black Spinner, otherwise Lee's Favourite." "He has no objection to other flies, provided that they are lightly dressed, but does extremely well without them."
