Harrap's Shorter French and English Dictionary
Our copy, which I bought 2nd-hand in 1984, appears to be deeply outdated. Looking in it for French homework, we found "shoe" given as "soulier" rather than "chaussure", which has been standard since at least the early 1970s. It's going on the Out Pile in favour of a new one (probably the Oxford-Hachette if it is still available and up to date).

Come molti di questi dizionari Peter Collin, lo trovo piuttosto incompleto e con troppi termini di uso comune che si troverebbero facilmente su qualunque dizionario generico. Allo stesso tempo, magari qualcosa si trova. Pare scritto per non-anglofoni.

Dictionary of Human Resources and Personnel… von A. Ivanovic
Buono, forse, per chi non è madrelingua e che intende lavorare nel settore. Per me, che l’ho comprato, non serve a un granché. Non lo consiglio a chi è già del mestiere. Ci sarà qualcos’altro, spero.

Dictionary of Medicine von P.H. Collin
Un buon dizionario, ricco di esempi. Alcune volte forse è leggermente sbrigativo nelle definizioni Ha un supplemento che tra l'altro contiene termini anatomici, eponimi, e lista di farmaci.
