Lucy is a character that has a lot going on. Her business is struggling and now she's got someone following her every move with bad intentions. And who better to save the day than her high school boyfriend turned firefighter, Jared? While Lucy is doing her best to handle everything she has going on, she definitely needs Jared's help to stay safe, especially when her stalker proves that they are willing to go to some major extremes to harm her.

This was a pretty quick read, but it kept me hooked from start to finish. There was definitely a lot going on but I think that has more to do with the author, Cynthia Cooke, creating a whole setting in Granite Falls with numerous books. It can be read as a standalone but I have a feeling it wouldn't seem as if I was being pulled in so many different directions if I read all of the Granite Falls novels in order. This book definitely has me wanting to start from the beginning and read the rest of the books in the series!… (mehr)
