This informational book is about what happens when it begins to rain outside. It also follows some children and what things they do when they play in the rain. The book also discusses how to know when it's about to rain and how to tell when it's stopped raining.

I enjoyed reading this book. I learned something new, I had never heard of floating libraries before. I think it was definitely a great concept for that time period. I also liked how throughout the book Jesse demonstrated the importance of hard work and working for something that you want.
