British author/artist Helena Covell makes her debut with Jumble Wood, published by the London-based Flying Eye Books. The story here is somewhat slight, but sweet nevertheless, exploring the classic "the joy is in the journey" idea, as well as the notion that it is loving relationships that truly make us happy. The artwork was sometimes a little too pink for me, but otherwise I found it cute. Recommended to anyone looking for new picture-books about emotions, and the (seemingly eternal) quest for happiness.… (mehr)
