When the Big Dog Barks title should have been changed because this story is not about a dog barking. This book was too short and simple. I felt like this book need more details. This book is mainly about a little girl who's scared of certain things. She would run to her parents for safety. She believes they will protect her from the things that are bothering her like thunder, dogs, and monkey bars. This story overall in my opinion, not my favorite. I believe the children would want more to the story. I love the illustrations because it has a deep color pencil texture.… (mehr)
