Editada no âmbito da exposição “100 anos de património: memória e identidade: Portugal 1910-2010” e integrada nas comemoração dos 100 anos da implantação da República em Portugal, esta publicação tem como finalidade reunir um conjunto de textos e reflexões sobre a salvaguarda e a valorização do património cultural ao longo da centúria de 1910-2010. Pretende, assim, ser uma síntese da história do património português desde a implantação republicana até aos nossos dias. Focam-se concepções, políticas, protagonistas, instituições e organizações da sociedade civil responsáveis pela defesa de uma herança da história colectiva portuguesa.

Published under the exhibition “100 years of heritage: memory and identity: Portugal 1910-2010” as part of the 100 year anniversary of the establishment of the Republic in Portugal, this work aims to collect texts and thoughts on the preservation and enrichment of cultural heritage throughout the century of 1910-2010. It thus intends to be a synthesis of the history of Portuguese heritage from the establishment of the First Republic to the present day.
