These little "magic" workbooks are different than the other "law of attraction" books I have read. I feel like these ones actually come closer to the truth than the others. To me, these are more resonant with the scriptural version of "ask and ye shall receive." While I believe in the scriptures and in that unequivocal promise, I also believe that promise is dependent on your desires being in line with what is right and also dependent on God's will and timing. I love how this book states that to receive, you must, ironically, let go of when, how, or even if it will happen. I have found this to be true in my own life. And I have found that the times I have let go were the very times I did, indeed, get what I wanted. But usually never in the way I expected.… (mehr)
