Pond Owner's Problem Solver von John Dawes
Pond setup, pond fish, pond plants, pond wildlife, pond management.
The Complete Encyclopedia of the Freshwater Aquarium by John Dawes is an easy read, with a lot of great information packed into it. It has plenty of information on all aspects of fish keeping. From setting up and choosing your first fish, to illnesses and fish health.
There are some issues, the main one being the lack of photographs. Only about half of the fish that are described here actually have photographs, which can make identifying unknown fish in your aquarium tricky.
All in all this really is a handy book. Its fairly old now, so may not be totally up to date, but it also means that it can be found cheaper than many of its rivals.
If you can find it cheap, as I did, it most certainly warrants 4 & 1/2 stars!
