The little girl in the story receives a lemon tree from her grandma and is unsure what to do with it at first. She keeps it by her the whole time and shows it love. It grows lemons and she makes delicious lemonade with her grandma. She sells the lemonade to buy what she wants. This book is good to show a class because it shows the lesson that is you want something you have to really work for it.
A little girl was expecting something from her long-awaited wishlist for her birthday. But then granny gifted something unusual, really unusual. A lemon tree! What? What happened to the robot dog, headphones, drone, and those many needed things on the list. But no one can say no to a sweet granny. So the little girl pretends to like the gift though she has other plans. What does she do with the lemon tree? What happens to her wishlist?
