The sequel to "Lashkar" is more predictable than its predecessor and seems monotonous. However, this one will definitely satisfy the reader looking for an Indian action-thriller. I would rate it 3.5/5.
Once again Mukul Deva has woven together a thriller from some real incidents and a dream of a terror-free India. The tempo is better than the previous novels of the series. Some parts are really gripping. One feels that, in order to restrict the number of pages, few parts haven't been elaborated as much as they should have been. Also, a few things seem to happen for the protagonists very easily...

This is a fast paced thriller dealing with the very real crimes of human trafficking and organ harvesting. The lead characters are quite well fleshed out and the plot is gripping. I had some trouble with the many coincidences and the rushed ending though.
In short, it is a decent thriller that is good to pass some time with and it deserves 3.5 stars in my opinion.

On the negative, the first half feels a little drawn out, and, the irregular timeline is annoying at times.
In short,Lashkar is a nice, fast thriller that is quite enjoyable.
