I checked this out from my public library and I'm going to keep it and take it with me to a the Botticelli exhibit which the Muscarelle Museum of Art at the College of William & Mary is hosting now (2017).
One funny item is that the dust jacket of my book shows only the head of the figure, not the full and pretty much naked bust shown on this cover here. I guess it was too much for the American publisher to handle.… (mehr)
