Irish-English Dictionary von Patrick S. Dinneen
The first edition of this book appeared in 1904, and this edition was first published in 1927. This dictionary is for serious students of the language, especially those studying the older works.
A venerable old dictionary, highly eccentric - and the subject of much mocking by Flann O'Brien (as Myles na gCopaleen) in his "Cruiskeen Lawn" column in the Irish Times. This volume is printed in the difficult-to-read, but very beautiful, Irish Uncial font.
