A paranormal romance story between a highschool age boy and a werewolf. The story starts out well and sets the tone of a mystery and introduces unique aspects to the paranormal storyline. I was actually really excited for a bit because of where I thought the story was going. Unfortunately it falls apart when one character is portrayed as a hero, but does villainous acts. There are no consequences outside of some dialogue, romance always continues forward as if nothing has happened. At points it felt like a parody, since so many red flags were being commented on, but then nothing happens.… (mehr)

If you're looking for a gay Werewolf romance story, this is the book for you. The main character is a young gay man just starting to explore relationships, and is the stereotype of every romance heroine in that he makes poor decisions whenever he is presented with one. The Werewolf is very stylized and the author put a lot of thought into creating their own spin on the mythos, almost too much so as most of the dialogue consists of "Me Tarzan, you John." Extra tension is provided throughout by way of the protagonists unhappy home life and a cabal of local Werewolf hunters.… (mehr)
