This book is about a boy that is honest, well a little too honest. Although it is a good thing to be honest, words can still hurt people.

Frank learns that while honesty is the best policy, truthful words can hurt others and must learn to be honest without being mean. Ages 3-8. Presented in class; Pierce College

Frank was taught that "honesty is the best policy", he didn't realize sometimes the truth can be hurtful so many people were upset with him. He learned from his grandfather that it is okay to tell the truth but not the hurtful truth.

Being Frank is tough. Even though he always tells the truth everyone still gets mad at him. He learns quickly from his grandpa that telling the truth is best with a little sugar behind it. Lying isn't okay but sometimes you can spare the obvious truth to spare someones feelings.
