Kurzbiographie
As a child, asked to be named Irmengarde after hearing an aunt singing it in a Norse song. Her family was calling her Baby at the time. The aunt decided the family would never take to using her given name Louise, which had been the name of her deceased mother, and agreed.

Rezensionen

This book is a lot like a Planet Earth narration of a fox's life. It's done in story form, from the perspective of a narrator explaining what a fox is doing. The kids still get great information, but it's in a way that they more can handle, and would be great for younger and older kids. The pictures are all in black and white which gives the book and older and mysterious feel. I would probably use this book to introduce a unit on foxes or a lesson on foxes during a read aloud the previous day.

1.Summary & Comments:ある国のプリンスとヤギの話。絵本というより、小説に近い作りになっていたが、ページ数はそれほど多くなく気軽に読めた。

2.Line or Phrase:"She could not help heaving a deep sigh of love and despair!"

3.Number of words:approximately 1300

4.Reading time:about 45min
