I'm in the minority on this one I guess. I wanted to love this book and the set up could have been perfect if not for Kacie's character! I couldn't stand her ridiculous/unbelievable thought process. My Daddy and husband left me so now I can't trust this super hot, nice, romantic, and wonderful guy. I could have handled a bit of this behavior but not an entire book of it! UGH! My second issue is this was too long/boring as it was stretched way out to make way for....wait for it......a second book (I'll bet you saw this coming a mile away). This would have been kick ass if it were one book! I kept waiting for things to wrap up with Blair/Kendall. I kept thinking if Zach came back now it would be really interesting. Anyway, the author does write well and editing is good. I think the second book will be more up my alley but I just don't have the desire to continue. Not much sexy time either.....2 times over one weekend the entire book. It didn't feel the relationship was going anywhere!… (mehr)

Starting over is always hard. For Kacie, starting over with two adorable, yet mischievous twins means double the fun. Kacie lives with her Mom to get where she wants to be - a nurse and raise her girls independently. A sudden powerful storm blows in and creates a stir with her plans in the form of hockey player, Brody Murphy.

I love hockey romance. So any time a trusted friend makes a recommendation, I am all over it. This is one of those books that is a light hearted, easy read. I loved the dialogue and storyline Ms Eheman puts the main characters through. I connected more with Brody than Kacie. Her character seemed to be holding back a bit where Brody seemed open hearted and ready for new beginnings. Warning - you'll want to pick up book 2 as soon as you finish book 1. Not a cliffhanger of "OH MY GOD!" proportions. Yet, still wanting to know what's in store for the characters to get to their HEA.

If you love light hearted, easy storylines with a hunky hockey player to swoon over, this book is for you.

"Zach? At the hospital? Are you serious?"

That was exactly my thoughts. What the heck? Book two is a continuation of book 1 right where it left off. This is a definite read in order to get on the same page as the characters type series. So if you are considering reading this book without book 1, turn around here and go to book 1.

This book is a bit more tension and less light heartedness that book 1 had. Kacie has to deal with the reappearance of the twins father and then the eventual fall out of keeping information from a budding relationship. Ms Ehenmann takes us through the ups and downs before Kacie and Brody can reach their happily ever after. Although predictable, if you love your romance with a huge dose of "No way" and "Snap out of it", this continuation of Room for You is a recommended read.

If you loved book 1 and 2 of the Cranberry Inn series, this novella will be the side of icing to finish off the cake. Is it necessary? Not really. But it does close the loop on the story to experience the end of the HEA tied up in a big fat bow.

As Kacie and Brody head to their wedding day, life's little hiccups follow them just to throw a curve ball. You finally get to meet the father that bruised Kacie's heart. He provides a bit of drama for our main characters to deal with before the reader reaches "The End".

Novellas are always hard for me to review. It depends upon their place in the story. Does it add more? Does it answer questions left in the last book? Does it revisit characters I've missed? This novella is just the bit of swirls on the edge of a finished cake. Do I think you need to read it? Nope. However, if you are like me where you have this unending drive to complete a series, then it will be worth the reading time.
