I think I’m a bit obsessed with London. When I stumbled upon this book on Netgalley I had to read it. Within two days, which is quite fast for me, I finished the novel. Okay, it’s not a long book. Actually, it has only 133 pages. But I’m a slow reader.

First, a bit annoying were the formatting mistakes. Sometimes, there is a paragraph – mid-sentence. On the other hand, there were missing paragraphs during a dialogue. Or two words are one.

So, let’s turn to my opinion on the book. It’s a nice read, really. Although Imogen was a bit annoying. I mean, why would she do that to her boyfriend? Why couldn’t she be honest to him and break up with him face to face? Instead, she runs away with some rich man.

The blind dating thing she comes up with was quite funny. I’ve never been on a blind date, but I can totally imagine what kind of guys you meet there. Sadly, it doesn’t go well for Kate. But in the end, she doesn’t need a blind date to find a boyfriend.

All in all I rate the book with three stars. There was a climax, sure. But it wasn’t that exciting and something was missing.… (mehr)
