Marisa O. Ensor

Marisa O. Ensor is a socio-cultural, applied, and legal anthropologist with broad interests in humanitarianism and international education and development, and a focus on childhood and gender. Prior to joining the University of Tennessee she was an assistant professor of Anthropology and faculty mehr anzeigen liaison for the Center for Migration and Refugee Studies at the American University in Cairo, Egypt. She is the author of numerous publications on humanitarian crises and childhood issues, including the edited volumes Children and Migration: At the Crossroads of Resiliency and Vulnerability (2010), with Elzbieta M.
