This guide came with the Battle Chest when I bought the Diablo II Expansion Game. It's a role playing game you can play either with others online or as a single player on your computer. I love the game, and this book doesn't make a bad introduction and does have some useful information, enough I'm keeping it on my bookshelf, which is why I'm not rating it lower. I'm not rating it higher because honestly, if you want to learn game strategies for playing your Amazon or Paladin or such, you can find much, much better online by googling.… (mehr)

Until I get up and running this was kinda academic, not a bad look at podcasting, however the edition I had was from 2006 and things change a lot in computers in 4 years. It's a good basic introduction to the start of podcasts and the basics of how to do it. Suggesting at least a vague scripting so that you have something to work with if you run out of ideas and a pop-filter are two that I'm going to have to implement myself. It's written in a fairly accessible style and doesn't talk down to you.… (mehr)

You'll get this guide if you buy the battlechest, and it's a great reference if you are new to the game. The best part about it is the spell lists in the back, which lists all the spells and abilities of all classes and tells you how strong/powerful they are as you level them up. Unforunately after you download the latest patches it will be innacurate. The guide is still useful if you are new to the game and want to look through the lists to figure out how to play each class though.

The actual game guide is a little silly. Since the maps and dungeons are randomized in the game they basically just tell you the same things you are told in the game. "Go through "dungeon" and find the exit to "area" and look for the item." It's not really helpful in that aspect, but it does give some good advice for the boss battles and unique monsters you'll encounter.

It's a great addition to the battlechest, new players will find it incredibly useful for a little while, but if you already play the game I wouldn't recommend going out and buying it now.
