I enjoyed the fast-paced nature of this action packed thriller with a dose of sci-fi. I did however find that it did drag on a bit (particularly in the later parts of the book) and some of the interaction between characters a bit too cheesy. The book started for me as a 4 star read but by the end was more of 3.5 stars.

This is a great book for fans of the Jason Bourne series. I liked how it went between pay and present do you get a sense of the characters from different perspectives. I wasn't sure who to root for. It was non stop action from the very beginning to the very end. I will definitely read the next episodes. It dies feel like an episode in a show, and ends on a cliff hanger. Can't wait to read the next episode and learn more about the mysterious agency.

I received a free copy of this ebook from the author.

Not a bad thriller/action story! I would say it is very similar to Matthew Reilly's Scarecrow series, and maybe even close to Boyd Morrison's Tyler Locke series. The action moves along at a fast pace, and even though our main characters seem to always have the luck of things on their side, it still kept my interest to read to the end. Lots of room to expand more on background history of the The Fifth Column and its' agents (good or bad). I see that there are two other novels int his series, so I am sure I will be checking out the next one soon!… (mehr)

The reviews from the publishers allude to this being similar to Matthew Reilly. It's not quite like Reilly's work, but I can see that with a few more fleshed out details about the characters backgrounds this story could live up to that claim. This is however the first in the series and the second could clear up those things.

Overall the fight scenes were well designed and the plot is interesting and having read quite novels in this genre I think this series will be a good one once it gets going.… (mehr)
