Earths: A Sapphic Action Adventure (The New Angels… von L. Fergus
This was a brilliant book. A collection of short stories that switches between Kita being a captive and a different universe where we get to peek in on her life with Apocalypse and her daughter, you'll find a tale that will keep you turning pages for hours. There were heart racing moments, ones that will make you smile, and times you'll wonder just what's coming next. I really enjoyed reading this, the main characters are brilliantly developed, and the world building is superb. You don't need to read the previous books in the series to enjoy this one, either! Highly recommend if you're a fan of lesbian fiction, sci-fi, or badass angels!… (mehr)
If you're looking for strong heroines, look no further. The women you meet in this book are strong, smart, determined, and feel so real. The stories are engaging, and while there is an overall plot, I enjoyed following each of their journeys. The plot moves along steadily, but not too quickly. While this is a sequel, I didn't feel lost at all while reading it, and works well as a standalone. A wonderful read overall.
