This book walks students through the life cycle of a sunflower from seed to flower. It shows students how to carefully plant the sunflower as well as keep it maintained. The book does a great job showing each stage of growth for students to visually see and understand. I liked this book especially for a kinder or first grade class especially for the spring time when it is time to plant flowers. This book would be awesome to use as an instructional guide in creating an anchor chart of how to plant seeds. This would also spark conversation about how plants grow (photosynthesis) and how we can take care of them. This is great book to introduce younger kids into plants.… (mehr)
