Disappointing, sadly it is quiet a good idea and would have been funny if not for those giant amount of logic errors. This is a book in a medieval setting and here is one of the biggest mistakes made. If you read a book in a medival world you have to make yourself clear that there are a huge amount of things we have today and can't live without them, but would not even be considered to be useful in medival world. "Girls don't like me cus I stink" (as apprentice of a blacksmith) , or getting up in the morning and brushing your teeth. About smell, at least as far as I know but mor than a cat wash per day was not common and a Blacksmith who washed once a day would be considered pretty clean. And have you ever heard about a village with a sewer system? Well me neither. It goes on, with "stripes of bacon", hello? There was no "bacon" you could make bacon by cutting slices of some ham or gammon. Could go on here for days but that would spoil the whole book.
And then the load of stereotypes used in there can't be even measured in exa-tons. There are so many of them even a comedy would you send less, as it is it is not even funny anymore.
Then my last point is that the amount of emotions I got from reading that book was pretty low, I don't want to say there are no emotions in the characters or their dialog but it is pretty close.
But right here is already the next logic error, the characters can talk about the most extreme situations as if nothing more has happened than a sandcorn flipping over. If you have toothbrushes in a medical world where the he'll are your shrinks?
If you can ignore a huge amount of logic errors and bad story telling in favour of the plot of the book, you might enjoy it, but you have to be a pretty extreme case of dense to do that.
