Jane Foster (3) (1970–)

It's hard to review a high contrast, minimal words board book geared for 0-6 month olds. But I can tell you that Audrey did everything you would expect a three month old to do. Because she sees in black and white (and some primary colors) she stared at the pages. She didn't look away or lose interest. So the book did was it was supposed to do.

Hence why I gave it 5 stars. And honestly, the illustrations are adorable. Having an armadillo was a fun, unique animal too!

Boutique ABCs is a weird idea, dude, but they're out there--same old alphabet, new illustrations, unobjectionable and inessential. This one was fun because Emmett thought the lion on the front was the sun and then we went through each letter relating them to the sun (apples grow in the sun, balls are round like the sun, etc.), but that was really our doing not Jane Foster's.

I received an electronic copy of "Creative Craft with Kids," through NetGalley for early review. This book is very short and only includes 15 projects. Since the projects could be easily found online, I would not purchase this book. I did like the colorful photos throughout the book, though.
