The authors of this book had impossible task - compressing discussions of various levels and sides of software development into one book. It is impossible because there is so much that could be said on each topic, and each topic by itself is a subject of many books dedicated to that topic only. However, even though they failed in my opinion - because of impossibility of their task - they did a marvelous job. They did as best as it could be done in these circumstances, and many people would find this work very useful, more like a collection of starting points for further exploration of every topic. This book is geared towards Web development, so for somebody working, for example, in embedded software field the book will be of limited interest.… (mehr)
