Королевская битва — это кино о моральных и семейных ценностях, которые в наше время начинают стираться, взрослое поколение бросило ребенка на произвол судьбы, они уходят рано утром и приходят поздно, сквернословят детям и ложатся спать. Поскольку и у нас на телевидении на рубеже веков появилась игра под названием «Последний герой», где участники соперничали друг с другом, чтобы выжить на далёком тропическом острове, то и выход в прокат фильма «Королевская битва» японского режиссёра Киндзи Фукасаку оказался вполне своевременным.
