I'm thrilled to finally have this. For the most part, the songs contained in it are not traditional, but "hits" from the early to mid 1970s when popular music had a far more vast set of styles. A song by Jefferson Airplane would be followed on the radio by something by Peter, Paul and Mary. Can't find that sort of thing now.
The decade of the 1970s is one that I would not, even on a bet, want to experience again -- especially the first five years. Bu the music! Give me this music at any time or place. It still speaks gently to my soul about love, pain, joy, hope, and a deep desire to make the world a better place.
