Ghost stories have always fascinated me from a young age. I also tried to learn as much information as I can about different hauntings. In my opinion, I absolutely loved this book! Many places mentioned in this book are places on the East coast. For example, the Westminster burying grounds in Baltimore, Maryland was ranked one of the most haunted places in the country. Edgar Allen Poe was buried here and many reports of his ghost have been seen in the catacombs beneath the cemetery. I enjoyed learning about interesting hauntings that take place in the state of Maryland. Other places mentioned nearby include the Gettysburg battlefield, the White House, and Williamsburg, Virginia. Another reason for why I enjoyed this book was because of the pictures that were provided. The pictures included the places that are said to be haunted as well as old portraits of the individuals that are said to be haunting the place. The main idea of this book is to share ghost stories from the eastern United States and share historical events with the reader.… (mehr)
