The Edinburgh Companion to Muriel Spark von Michael Gardiner
Superb collection of critical essays that are a must-have for any admirer of Dame Muriel. The only reason I rate it ½* less than perfect is that, like any such collection of essays, there are a couple that go bleah, mainly because of excessive use of "acadamese." Obviously these essays tend to address, more often than not, the early Spark classics, but occasional reference will be found even to the latest, even to the last couple, rel="nofollow" target="_top">Aiding and Abetting and The Finishing School.… (mehr)
