Paul Giamatti

For a couple seasons I enjoyed it for the cheesy power-play soap opera it mostly is, but its failure to delve into the real-world consequences of what hedge funds do made it feel shallow and bland after a while. In six seasons it failed to feel as rich and layered as two-hour movies like, say, the Big Short. It even got to the point where it was unabashedly casting Bobby Axelrod as the good guy, tossing out the early-series acknowledgement that, despite Bobby's charisma and likeability, the whiny, dorky attorney general, Chuck Rhoades, was the show's white-hat.… (mehr)
