I read this before and loved it! I have recently been re-reading some favorite books and wanted to hear this in Audible. It is so good, even a second go round! I love the various fanciful magic, the many creatures that play the parts, the many emotions the book takes you on, and the terrific world building! There is also great humor! I just love this book! So many fun treats in it! A talking rabbit that can change shape, her aunts are the mythological three beings that shared an eye, and so many other great tidbits! Pure fantasy bliss!

This is such a fun series! A snarky, clever, laugh out loud, action pack third book in the series that takes the reader on a mission with a zany hero! He is to save a village, especially a 13 year old boy, by getting a special object he can't even touch! The crazy characters, situations, dialogues, and plot is fantastic! The reader wonders if he will ever make it because all he does is get kidnapped!
Jeffrey Later is so perfect for this book! He is made for comedic reading! His timing, voices, pitch, and more is excellent! He adds sooooo much to this book!
I can't say enough about this series. Start with book one, do yourself a favor!… (mehr)

This is an audible book I requested and the review is voluntary.
First, read book one! It is so look worth it! This book will make more sense and it might accidentally have a spoiler.( little ones but all spoilers count) This series I just love! It has awesome fantasy, great well developed characters, snark, lots of humor, creative plot, strangeness (yes, this is good), creatures of all kinds, and a kick ass team. Sure I could tell you about the golems, demons, and battles but it isn't the same as listen to it from the awesome narrator that performs this book. The narrator is super awesome! You would think there are giant flesh golems, demons, and other creatures on loan to the studio! Great job! Can't wait for the next book!… (mehr)
