I think the author was aiming to build the sense of mystery and atmosphere bit I just couldn't get into it really - I was bored most of the time. The pace was just too slow with too few clues as to where it was all going. It felt like the author knew things and was assuming too much, so that it was frustrating rather than intriguing.None of the charcters were particulary likeable either - Chloe was too spineless for my taste, Hannah too nasty, Paul and David both jerks and Iolair more creepy than anything. I did like the actual premise though - the fae tale of love - found that interesting which is what saved it from getting one star.… (mehr)
