Rezensionen

This novel is built on a rather far-fetched premise—a reasonably well-to-do middle-aged married woman breaking into homes and sometimes stealing items. However, I appreciated Gilmor’s accompanying social commentary about the current state of affairs. I found the book both absorbing and entertaining.

A girl, Amy, moves in next door to Austin. He tries to impress her, when she isn't impressed he insults her. I thought it contained unrealistic behavior for children.

My parents never did make me, and they let me finish lessons when I felt it was getting too much on top of my school. I still miss playing!… (mehr)

It was hard to care about anything that happened in this book since all of the characters were so unlikeable. The "mystery" was not mysterious and there was o sense of urgency, the plot plodded, and the ended wrapped up all neat and tidy - ugh.
