This book is perfect for prek students to introduce the A,B,Cs. There are pictures that go along with each letter which will help develop links between the word and letter for the young child.

I think this book would be great to use in preschool or kindergarten to teach the alphabet. You could also use it in these grades to discuss people with intellectual disabilities and how everyone is different. I could also see this book being used in an ECE classroom or another special education setting with students with down syndrome to teach the alphabet.

This book could be used in preschool but it would be best used in a special education school with those students who may have down syndrome. The pictures and word association can help the students understand each letter in the alphabet and build thier vocabulary. It's also great for down syndrome students because this book is a reflection of themselves in the pictures that are used and they can relate to the children in this book.
