The book was more about counting than about science as I had hoped that it would be about. The main characters are bears and they end up getting a free ticket to tour a space station. Once at the space station they get the opportunity to go on board the rocket and travel to Mars. The book had many opportunities to give the younger students it is aimed towards accurate depictions of a space ship however there were only cute pictures. The book would be much better used to teach math than it would to teach science as the main characters also solved a problem using honey that they find on Mars. This may confuse young readers as to the "red planet".… (mehr)
