Smoke Tree Range (Leisure Western) von Arthur Henry Gooden
Nan Page is caught in a sand storm while out touring the ranch she just inherited from an uncle who has been missing for 20 years. To her rescue comes Lee Cary who shows her a huge hollow tree in which he has created a sanctuary. Nan soon learns that someone wants her ranch and is willing to kill her and her 12 year old brother to get it. She initially thought it was Lee's grandfather but soon become suspicious of the local saloon keeper.

Fast paced story with enough plot shifts to keep you wondering although the villain is obvious from the beginning.… (mehr)
