Seeing the Times obit for Michael Goulder spurred me to finally purchase and read this pithy and concise record of an all-day debate between former believer Goulder and liberal believer (and friend to Goulder) John Hick. Goulder proves himself much the better debater, but really the highlight of the book is a 30-page added-afterward first chapter, in which he gives an engaging account of his progress from belief to unbelief. A strongly recommended quick read.
