By far the most important day in a woman’s life besides giving birth to her first child is the day she walks down the aisle to say her “I do” to the person she’s committing to spend the rest of her life with in marriage.

Sometimes, although a bride-to-be heart’s is totally committed in going through with marriage so she can dwell in her HEA forever, her mind might in some incidents still be fraught of hesitations for one reason or another. It is at these times she needs to have some guidance with having the feelings of her mind match those of her heart. And perhaps a great way of creating this synchronous set of emotions between heart and mind is through the use of affirmations.

The bride’s reading of the 24 affirmations contained in this book by Elizabeth D. Gray, followed by quietly meditating about their meanings in her mind and then writing down her own thoughts of what she’s read for each one; will hoping turn the tide of her mind’s feeling towards marriage.

Perhaps the reasoning for this can be best explained by the author’s description of what an affirmation is:

“An affirmation on its own is a powerful thing. However, flexing the muscle of an affirmation with the conscious expression of your own words, thoughts and experiences is a transformative thing.”

Having walked down the aisle myself 24 years ago, I can see how reading and then understanding the formidable meanings each of the declarations contained in this book has, followed by heightening these feelings several times by writing one’s own terms can create the desired effect to anxiously walk down the aisle without any qualms; and it is because of this I’ve given Ms. Gray the 5 STARS I’ve given her and this book.

BULLIES ARE NOT BORN, bullies become that way solely due to things they’ve experienced growing up which is why it’s necessary to get them to change the way they are.

While there are countless numbers of books, both non-fiction and fiction which have been written about the topic of bullies and bullying, its causes and ramifications; but, these traditionally have been regarding its victims and not the perpetrators.

We need to find a simple way of transforming those who participate in the practice of bullying, of BOTH SEXES, into someone who is far more sociable. We can easily send these individuals to boot camps where they experience, probably in the first time in their lives, what it feels like to be the one who’s being bullied on an on-going basis, but some might suggest that this is cruel.

A far more peaceful way is to get these individuals involved with the making of affirmations; affirmations are simply a solemn and formal declaration of the truth of something. While affirmations are great, they’ll become more empowering if the person making them then has to restate them in their own words. The 25 affirmations in this book by the author is intended to be an instrument by which the transformations of these individuals can seriously begin. Each of the book’s affirmations covers a different area in a person’s daily existence, which will hopefully create a new individual.
While this book with its blank pages for writing self-reflections can be used individually by someone overseeing the transformation process, it can also be used in group settings; if a KINDLE is being used in this process then the individual[s] can use those old-fashion marble composition notebooks, writing down the title each affirmation, followed by their thoughts.

For wanting to transform the lives of the victims of bullying, by transforming the bullies themselves, I’m happy to give Ms. Elizabeth D. Gray the 5 STARS I’ve given her for this book.

Unlike boys, girls are supersensitive to who they are, especially when they perceive themselves as not fitting the mode the world has set for them; and this is especially true when it comes to their bodies. Unlike boys, girls are looked at and rated each day of their lives. All this adds up for girls to ask themselves the proverbial question each day “Am I good enough.”

There is basically one way to help girls out of this rut and that way is to empower and inspire these girls to realize who/what they are and the difference they’re able to make in today’s dog-eat-dog world. And in order to achieve this goal they need help.

Mothers, while they’ve been down this road before, still need some assistance in directing their daughter in covering the different aspects involved. Single fathers, already lost when it comes to their daughters, need ALL the help they can get in helping them reach womanhood with any residual scars of growing up without a mother.

This book contains 25 affirmations which the young girl[s] in your family need to read, contemplate as what each one means to them, write their thoughts. While this is easy in the paperback edition of the book, those reading it as a KINDLE edition should get an old-fashion marble composition notebook, and write the title of this book on the outside. Inside they should, and write down the title of each affirmation, followed by their thoughts.

The intention of this book is that by responding to each of these 25 affirmations the girls reading this book should get the emotional support and encouragement they need to succeed; which is why this reviewer is giving 5 STARS to this book.
