Really great concept: teach anyone how to throw a great short social mixer with name tags and ice-breakers. Lots of thoughtful positive suggestions and email templates to encourage anyone, even the nervous and shy, to give this a go. However. It's very American in concept, and very extroverted: everybody in a circle and introduce yourself and say your favourite breakfast, and do this sort of thing twice more over two hours. Floated the structure past a couple of my introvert friends and they would rather die than attend such an event. So you would need to pick your audience, and with the right people (American extroverts) this would work well.… (mehr)
