The storyline that started in Executive Actions continues in Executive Treason…America’s enemies are working overtime to bring Uncle Sam down and its an action packed thrill.

With the money-man behind the plot to install a spy to the Oval Office still working behind the scenes, the multiple plots and characters are still trying to topple America. Twists and turns, plots, subplots and a romantic entanglement to keep the readers interested.

The author’s imagination is terrifying in the direction he takes on the lengths America’s enemies will go through. Could it happen? I don’t know, but the possibility is enough to keep you reading and keep you awake long after the book is finished.

The characters reappear in 2 more books in the series and I am anxiously waiting to read them and maybe find something that will put to rest the worries this series as awakened.

Recommend?
Absolutely to anyone and everyone who is aware of the divide along political lines in the US and the world.

What a heart-pounding, keep you guessing wild ride.

I grew up under the ever-present scenario of war with Russia, I watched as Reagan said "Trust, but verify", I watched communism slowly crumble and Mikhail Gorbachev cause "Gorby-lock" in NYC when he came to visit. There was always whispers of the KGB/FSB having a school devoted to teaching young children/young adults to become Americanized to infiltrate our society and bring it down from the inside.

Executive Actions takes this premise and explores what could happen if that actually happened. Mr. Grossman's story is terrifying in its ramifications.

Bad guys abound, good guys trying to keep up and legal knots all make this an exhilarating and horrifying read.

From the Oval Office of the White House, commuter trains of the Northeast, law offices of Boston, beaches of Florida, mosques of the Middle East, CIA headquarters, to the newsroom of the New York Times, this story hops the globe bringing to life how fragile our democracy could be.

What a heart pounding read and a heart stopping climax. Bravo Mr. Grossman.

I recommend this to everyone! Boomers, Gen X, Millennials - everyone will get something from this geopolitical thriller.

Gary Grossman does it again with the third installment of his Executive series. Scott Roarke is back to help President Taylor avert the collapse of America from threats both foreign and domestic. Scott’s love interest has moved to Washington after proving herself in book 1 and book 2, now she works as one of the White House’s lawyers and is once again called to help the Attorney General avert a constitutional crisis.

Terrorism is top of mind for the President, the White House and all the intelligence communities. Expertly weaving different characters circling the globe to the page, Mr. Grossman keeps the storyline moving and tension building.

A nail biting read that weaves what if with conspiracy theories and real life events to bring to life a horrifying future.

RECOMMEND?
For anyone who sometimes thinks “What if” and isn’t scared to follow obscure conspiracy threads to the heart pounding action.

Galileo Galilei makes in 1601 a discovery in the mountains of eastern Italy that could cause turmoil in the world; that could bring down governments and shatter people's faith in religions.

In the present time, a group of people on a university dig in Montana headed by paleontologist Quinn McCauley stumbles over a discovery that a secret group of people for over 400 years has done everything to keep a secret and the secret group will do anything to stop the discovery to be revealed. They stopped Galilei and they have stopped everyone else that has been close to discovering the secret during the centuries. McCauley and fellow paleontologist Katrina Alpert tries to understand what they have found in the mountains at the same time is running out for them...the group will stop at nothing to keep the secret from getting out.

Wow! If I would summarize this book would wow be the right word. I have a weakness for adventures books with secret societies and wild chases across the world. Hell, books like this are probably the only genre that over the top is a good thing. In an adventure's thriller the story should be over the top, the characters should be thrown into impossible situations and I don't even mind if the main characters get a bit close together in the heat of the moment, well as long as they don't decide to do it in a situation when they should think more about running and not smooching. But in this book they didn't act that stupid and I quite enjoyed McCauley and Alpert working together.

This book was fabulous to read and since I have had for years a fascination with dinosaurs was I intrigued by the story from the beginning. But I never imaged that it would be so good, so different from other adventures thrillers I have read and I liked the fact that it wasn't a "religious" hunt, no holy grail or some lost book of Jesus to find. The discovery that Galileo Galilei made was interesting and it was the very discovery that made me, in the end, give it five stars. It was so fantastic, so mind boggling and it was that kind of discovery that stayed with me after I read the last page. I'm still a bit amazed by it and it has been days since I read the book.

I received a copy from the publisher and Partners In Crime Virtual Book Tours in return for an honest review!
