The 19th Bladesman (Shadow Sword series) von S.J. Hartland
This was a brilliant fantasy. There's plenty of action and magic mixed into this book, and I didn't want to put it down once I started. The characters and world are very well-developed, and there are twists that will keep you guessing. You don't know everything up front, which I love. Don't start this unless you have plenty of time to sit down and read, because it's really hard to stop you get drawn in so quickly.
This was the second book in a series, I would have liked to read the first but I received an arc of this book in exchange for my honest review. Usually starting a series without reading the previous books makes me edgy but that was not the case with this book, they were times were I was unsure of what was being mentioned but as it wasn't really imperitive to the story it wasn't much of a hassle. The characters are well developed and easy to relate too. The story followed along effortlessly. I am now going to purchase the first book in the series and I look forward to the rest.… (mehr)
